Seahawks' Sam Darnold feels 'really good,' ready for NFC title game
""I feel really good," Darnold said Friday. "Feeling really good this whole week. I feel like the process is going right along where it should be, so I feel really good for Sunday.""
""The guys in the training room do a really good job with everybody, myself included," Darnold said. "We're just taking it day by day and making sure I do all the things I need to do to get ready for Sunday.""
Sam Darnold is cleared to play in the NFC Championship and has no game designation despite a left oblique injury. He was limited in practice all three days as part of a plan to prepare him for Sunday. Darnold reported feeling very good and said the recovery process is progressing as expected. He suffered the oblique injury in practice last Thursday but still played in the divisional round, completing 12 of 17 passes for 124 yards and a touchdown before exiting late. Coach Mike Macdonald limited Darnold's throwing early in the week and said the plan has gone according to schedule. Left tackle Charles Cross returned to full participation after missing early practices with a foot issue, while backup Josh Jones is listed as questionable with knee and ankle injuries.
