Ravens optimistic about Jackson vs. Steelers
"The Baltimore Ravens are "very optimistic" about quarterback Lamar Jackson playing in Sunday night's AFC North title game at the Pittsburgh Steelers, coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday."
""He looked good," Harbaugh said. "I'm very optimistic [that he'll play Sunday], and we'll see how it plays out the rest of the week.""
""I think he's looking at those kind of [options] right now and he'll figure it out what he wants to do," Harbaugh said."
Lamar Jackson returned to full practice Wednesday after a back contusion and his first session in 12 days. Jackson was sidelined for the previous game and did not practice last week. Coach John Harbaugh said Jackson looked good and expressed optimism that Jackson will play Sunday, while noting the team will monitor progress through the week. Jackson appeared to be wearing additional padding around his midsection during practice. The Ravens will face the Steelers for the AFC North title, the AFC's No. 4 seed and a wild-card home game, with the loser ending its season.
