Quinn Ewers' top preseason target elevated for Dolphins' game vs. Bengals
"As Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers gets set for his first NFL start, he will have his favorite target from the preseason. The Dolphins elevated wide receiver Theo Wease from the practice squad to the game-day roster on Saturday for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Hard Rock Stadium. Miami also signed cornerback Ethan Robinson to the active roster off the practice squad while placing defensive back Elijah Campbell on injured reserve."
"Wease, an undrafted rookie out of Missouri, is bound to play in an NFL regular season game for the first time in his career. He had 10 receptions for 104 yards and two touchdowns in the preseason. The two scores came on passes from Ewers in Miami's exhibition win at the Detroit Lions in August. At 6 feet 2, Wease can make contested catches and did so on numerous occasions during Dolphins offseason organized team activities and minicamp and training camp before the season."
