Puka Nacua sounding confident about returning from injury for Rams vs. Saints
"I'm feeling fantastic. Feel ready to go."
"Really thought it was like just getting the wind knocked out of me, just of how I landed," Nacua said. "Got up and I was like, 'Oh, it's definitely not my back.'"
"Never a good time to be injured," Nacua said, "but the bye did land at a great time to rest and recover."
Puka Nacua missed the previous game with an ankle injury sustained Oct. 12 in Baltimore but said he feels great and plans to play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. The Rams returned from a bye week that provided rest and treatment following the injury. Nacua had two catches for 28 yards before colliding with Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey and initially felt winded from the landing. The Rams beat the Jaguars without Nacua to improve to 5-2. Nacua ranks third in the NFL with 54 catches and fourth with 616 receiving yards this season.
