Pro Bowl moves to Bay Area ahead of Super Bowl LX
"The Pro Bowl is coming, or at least its rebranded version of a flag-football game plus other player-friendly events. In conjunction with Super Bowl week next February, the NFL will deploy this season's version of the Pro Bowl Games to Moscone Center on Feb. 3. Specifically, an AFC vs. NFC flag football game will take place on a 50-yard field on the Tuesday before Super Bowl LX."
"Festivities will be broadcast on ESPN, Disney XD and ESPN Deportes, starting with the Pro Bowl Games at 3:30 p.m. PT, followed by the flag football game at 5 p.m. The flag football game will lean into the sport's debut in 2028 at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. NFL clubs recently granted players permission to compete in those Olympics."
"Building on our strong partnerships with the Bay Area Host Committee and ESPN, we're thrilled to make the 2026 Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon part of Super Bowl week, our biggest platform of the year, elevating flag football and our best players in a way that's never been done before, said Peter O'Reilly, NFL executive vice president of events, international and club business."
