Leonard Taylor began the 2025 season with the New York Jets, was a healthy scratch four times in six games, and was released earlier in the fall. The 23-year-old defensive tackle from the University of Miami signed with the New England Patriots' practice squad on Oct. 15 and earned six elevations to the active roster. Taylor played in all three playoff games, logged special teams reps, and in the AFC championship he got a hand on a potential game-tying Wil Lutz field goal, helping preserve a 10-7 win. Taylor is 6-foot, 305 pounds and in his second NFL season.
