Patriots just got even more good news ahead of Week 10 matchup vs. Bucs
"Just days before the New England Patriots head to Tampa to take on the Bucs in Week 10, they are dealing with multiple injuries on offense that will hopefully not become an issue in their quest to extend their six-game win streak. It's not great that it looks like they will be without WR Kayshon Boutte and RB Rhamondre Stevenson, but they should have the right talent to step up in their place."
"Their opponent is also dealing with injuries across their offense, including WR Chris Godwin and RB Bucky Irving. With Mike Evans already sidelined with an injury, losing explosive and reliable weapons like them would be devastating for QB Baker Mayfield. It wouldn't be that way for the Patriots' defense, however, and their absence from Thursday's practice, after already missing Wednesday's practice, too, is a good sign that they won't be available for Sunday's game."
"Much the same at Bucs practice - Luke Goedeke looks to be without any limitations, but still no Chris Godwin, Bucky Irving or Haason Reddick. Reasonable to think those three are all out for Sunday. pic.twitter.com/9vhOEP1v1g- Greg Auman (@gregauman) November 6, 2025 Considering just how much firepower Mayfield has to work with when his teammates are healthy, it's a massive blow to their lineup to be without Godwin and Irving this week."
Just days before Week 10 in Tampa, the New England Patriots are coping with multiple offensive injuries, with WR Kayshon Boutte and RB Rhamondre Stevenson appearing unlikely to play. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also facing significant absences, including WR Chris Godwin, RB Bucky Irving and continued sidelining of Mike Evans, with Haason Reddick also missing practice. Practice absences on Wednesday and Thursday increase the likelihood those Buccaneers will be unavailable Sunday. Losing Godwin and Irving would significantly reduce Baker Mayfield's receiving options despite his MVP-caliber season. Rookie Emeka Egbuka projects as the primary replacement and could challenge the Patriots' secondary.
