NFL has expedited investigation into Giants' Daboll
"I don't know what 'soon' means in this context but we're making progress."
"I think we'll let the investigation play out before we reach all the conclusions that are important... When we're done we'll share that publicly."
"We have protocols in place as a league to ensure player safety, and we need to allow our medical staff to execute those protocols without interference. We understand the situation is under review by the NFL and the NFLPA, and obviously we will cooperate fully."
The NFL and the Players Association are jointly expediting an investigation into Giants coach Brian Daboll's conduct during Jaxson Dart's in-game concussion evaluation. The probe has not reached a conclusion and officials say findings will be shared publicly when complete. Potential discipline could include fines or the loss of a future draft pick. Jaxson Dart was removed to the sideline medical tent after a tackle for a concussion evaluation. Daboll attempted to access the medical tent and was later seen yelling at the team's physician, actions that conflict with concussion protocols. Team officials stated Daboll sought timing information to decide on calling a timeout and pledged cooperation with the review.
