McDermott backs OC Brady, not considering Daboll
"Joe's a good coach. He really is. We've got a really good offensive staff. They've had really good games. You're gonna have some games you want back, some play calls you want back,"
"It's how you respond to 'em and I'm fully confident in our offensive staff, and Joe as our leader, that we will make the adjustments we need to make and move us forward."
"Yeah, no, I understand why you're asking that. Brian's a great coach. Unfortunate to see that happen to him. At this point, that's not under any type of consideration."
Sean McDermott affirmed full confidence in offensive coordinator Joe Brady and the Bills' offensive staff after a 30-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. The offense was held scoreless for the first three quarters, the third time that has occurred since Josh Allen was drafted in 2018. Buffalo turned the ball over three times, including an interception and a fumble by Allen. The offense displayed a lack of open receivers and an average time to throw of 3.53 seconds, Allen's longest in a game. McDermott confirmed commitment to Brady for the rest of the season and declined to pursue Brian Daboll.
