"Yeah, I haven't. Maybe that surprises you. But, you know, I've got to do some praying and figure this thing out."
"Tonight, I'm going to go be a dad and watch a more important game to me,"
"There's a lot [that goes] into it," Kiffin said. "It's a hard decision. You guys have them all the time. You've gotta make decisions about jobs you take and where you move, and we get paid a lot so I understand we're under a lot of spotlight and scrutiny."
Lane Kiffin must decide by Saturday whether to return as Ole Miss head coach or accept another job, with LSU believed to be pursuing him with a lucrative offer. He spoke after Ole Miss' 38-19 Egg Bowl win at Mississippi State and said athletics director Keith Carter and chancellor Glenn Boyce requested an answer by Saturday. Kiffin said he had not yet decided, planned to pray about the choice and would attend his son Knox Kiffin's high school playoff in Tupelo. He described the decision as difficult, noted the added scrutiny tied to high pay, and said he sought advice from Nick Saban and Pete Carroll.
