The Chiefs tandem of Matt Nagy and Steve Spagnuolo along with Broncos and Colts defensive coordinators Vance Joseph and Lou Anarumo have been targeted for an interview. Tennessee has also been mentioned as a likely suitor in the case of Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury. Stefanski represents another veteran play-caller on the offensive side of the ball as the Titans seek out Brian Callahan 's replacement."

He is widely regarded as a veteran offensive mind and two-time Coach of the Year during six Browns seasons. Stefanski is expected to interview with the New York Giants, Atlanta Falcons and Tennessee Titans as a leading head-coaching candidate for 2026. The Giants are considering interim Mike Kafka along with outside candidates. The Titans have requested interviews with multiple coordinators as they seek a replacement for Brian Callahan. Atlanta fired Raheem Morris and Terry Fontenot and is finalizing a president of football operations search.
