"That's what eases my mind, is that he's in good spirits, Glenn said Wednesday. His wife and his kid, they're in good spirits and he will walk away from this just fine."
"The first thing I thought about, he just had a kid, Glenn said. And I'm thinking about his wife, I'm thinking about his kid and I want to make sure that he's OK. Kris Boyd was shot in the abdomen in midtown Manhattan just after 2 a.m. Sunday and was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition. Surveillance images show a man sought in connection with the shooting; the shooter fled and no other injuries were reported. Boyd is reportedly upbeat and in good spirits; his wife and their newborn are also in good spirits. Boyd has not played this season after a season-ending shoulder injury requiring surgery; he signed with New York in March and was expected to contribute on defense and special teams.
