Some teammates are frustrated by his hesitancy to throw into tight windows against zone coverage and by a tendency to play his own game rather than fully implement the weekly plan. The offense ranks 25th in total yards, 28th in passing and 29th in third-down conversion rate, with rushing average down from 179 yards in 2024 to 115. The Eagles remain 8-2 because of a 75% red-zone conversion rate and a league-low four giveaways. Hurts said he takes accountability, focuses on learning and improvement, and believes work starts with him.
