Garrett: Steelers' focus more on me than winning
"I mean, to an extent. I feel like they were more worried about keeping me away from Aaron [Rodgers] than getting the win, and I think that's what came back to bite him. So, they'll have to fight it out with Baltimore next week. But I'm just proud of the guys for fighting and getting this one. That's the main thing. And I'm always going to keep it that."
"We didn't do anything against Myles that we don't normally do against Myles. The sack records are irrelevant. We got to minimize him if we want to engineer victory. We did the same thing last time we played him. I didn't think he had any sac"
The Browns upset the Steelers 13-6 while Myles Garrett fell one sack short of the single-season record with 22 sacks. Garrett logged one tackle, a quarterback hit and three pressures while frequently hurrying Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers played without DK Metcalf and Calvin Austin III, averaged 3.5 air yards on completions, completed 4-of-15 passes thrown more than five air yards and had a 2.39-second average time to throw. Pittsburgh missed the chance to clinch the AFC North and will host Baltimore in a winner-take-all Week 18 game. Mike Tomlin emphasized minimizing Garrett to engineer a victory.
