First look: Rams go dark mode with their new 'rivalries' uniform
Briefly

The Rams unveiled a near-black uniform and matte-finished helmet created with Nike that emphasizes earning the spotlight. The design ethos is summarized by the phrase "We work hard all night to earn the spotlight." The jersey includes a Sol (yellow) horn on the shoulder and white numbers with small perforations representing the exterior of SoFi Stadium roof. Pants include blue and yellow stripes and socks are black. The matte helmet features a full-curled yellow horn. The uniforms will be worn one game per season, with the Rams debuting them Nov. 16 against the Seattle Seahawks. Select player jerseys will be available Sept. 10.
Nothing, it seems, commands the attention of Rams fans more than the team's uniforms. And on Thursday, the Rams revealed a new one as part of the NFL's Rivalries program. The "near black" ensemble and helmet was designed by Nike and the Rams based on the ethos that "We work hard all night to earn the spotlight," said Kathryn Kai-ling Frederick, the Rams' chief marketing officer.
