"The Miami Dolphins are bringing in a former Miami Hurricanes assistant coach who was just on the Buffalo Bills' coaching staff as new coach Jeff Hafley continued to build his own group of coaches under him. The Dolphins are hiring Jahmile Addae as cornerbacks coach, according to an ESPN report. Addae, 41, had been Bills cornerbacks coach each of the past two seasons, but their staff is in flux after the team fired ex-coach Sean McDermott and promoted Joe Brady from offensive coordinator."
"Like new Dolphins defensive backs coach Ryan Downard, Addae has previous ties to veteran cornerback Rasul Douglas, who is a free agent after a standout 2025 season in Miami. Douglas was coached by Downard in Green Bay and Addae in Buffalo. Before coaching at UM, Addae had college coaching stops at Georgia, his alma mater West Virginia, Minnesota, Arizona, Cincinnati and Michigan. At WVU, he was co-defensive coordinator in 2020."

The Dolphins have not yet named a defensive coordinator while potential compensation related to Anthony Weaver's future is considered.
