Sam Darnold's four-interception game was his worst of an otherwise strong debut season with the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle ranks sixth in scoring at 26.6 points per game but the offense has committed 12 turnovers over the past four weeks and the team leads the NFL with 20 giveaways. One turnover came on defense when safety Coby Bryant fumbled an interception. Darnold has been charged with 14 of the other 19 turnovers, throwing 10 interceptions, throwing 17 touchdown passes and losing four fumbles. Some turnovers were deflected or caused by a botched snap. Darnold said he must recognize shell coverage better, move through progressions instead of locking onto receivers, and credited the Rams for disguising defensive looks.
