Williams (Doug Jr.) was hired as the team's quarterbacks coach; his father Doug Williams remains a senior advisor in the front office. Dan Quinn emphasized that D.J. Williams was hired on merit after an excellent interview and after monitoring his career. Williams spent 2024-25 on the Atlanta Falcons' staff and worked with Michael Penix Jr. and Kirk Cousins. Williams will work to advance Jayden Daniels.
