Crosby bids farewell to Raiders, 'so excited' to join Ravens
"I felt like I left everything I had on the table for this team. I've given my heart and soul. I feel like I let y'all down. Ever since Day 1, I wanted to create and build a winner with the Raiders."
"Never thought I would be in this position. I never thought I would be going anywhere else, truly. ...I didn't plan on things to be like this, but things happen for a reason."
"I want [the Raiders] to have all the success in the world. ...My intentions were pure from the beginning. I know a lot of people have had questions and concerns, especially the past couple of weeks and months. I've decided to be quiet because there's so much noise and ultimately, I'm a football player."
Maxx Crosby, an All-Pro edge rusher, was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Baltimore Ravens after seven seasons and 110 games. The Raiders received the 14th overall pick in the 2026 draft and a first-round pick in 2027. In a 13-minute video, Crosby expressed zero ill will toward the organization, stating he gave his heart and soul to build a winning team. He praised Raiders general manager John Spytek and ownership, including owner Mark Davis and minority owner Tom Brady. Crosby described the trade as unexpected, saying he never planned to leave and that things happen for a reason. He emphasized his pure intentions from the beginning and his identity as a Raider for life.
