Kansas City Chiefs safety Deon Bush is set to miss the entire 2025 season after tearing his left Achilles tendon during a noncontact play in the preseason opener against the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Andy Reid mentioned that Bush had been performing well in training camp and will require surgery. A nine-year veteran, Bush joined the Chiefs in 2022 and had been contributing significantly, including notable plays during the team's Super Bowl victories. His most prominent highlight was an interception in the 2023 AFC Championship Game against the Baltimore Ravens.
