""We'll talk about that later," Gannon said. "I'm not in the mental space right now thinking about development of players as we move forward. I'm trying to stay focused on today in the Rams.""
""I thought that he made some contested catches because of some size," Gannon said. "And we'll look at that in the future and see if that's the right thing.""
Marvin Harrison Jr.'s second NFL season ended after he was ruled out of the season finale because of a left foot injury suffered against Cincinnati. Harrison finished with 41 receptions for 608 yards and four touchdowns across 12 games, missing time for appendicitis surgery, a right heel injury from Week 13 at Tampa Bay, and the left foot injury. Injuries defined the season and limited availability. The coaching staff noted Harrison added 11 pounds of muscle in the offseason, credited him with making contested catches due to added size, and indicated belief that his development and ceiling remain ahead.
