Browns safety Ronnie Hickman hospitalized after brawl broke out at Manhattan hotel: Report
"Safety Ronnie Hickman was a victim of assault early Monday morning at a New York City hotel. Ronnie was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital after the incident, was later released, and is home resting with his family."
"Gonna be an exciting 4 wins next season"
Ronnie Hickman was approached by four men at the Sixty LES hotel lobby on Allen Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan at about 4:30 a.m. The men attempted to talk to him and allegedly punched him in the face when he tried to dismiss them. Hickman was taken to Bellevue Hospital, treated for minor injuries, listed in stable condition, and later released to rest with his family. The Cleveland Browns confirmed the assault and his recovery. Authorities are investigating whether the attackers recognized him, and no arrests have been reported. Hickman started for the Browns in 2025, recording 103 tackles and two interceptions while playing 98.5% of defensive snaps. He went undrafted in 2023 and is a restricted free agent widely expected to re-sign with Cleveland on a projected $7–8 million annual contract.
