Multiple Browns defenders, including Myles Garrett, criticized San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings for comments they said crossed the line during the teams' Sunday matchup. During a stoppage for an injury to Browns defensive tackle Maliek Collins, several Cleveland defenders exchanged words with Jennings and Garrett stepped into the confrontation near the referee before players were separated. Linebacker Harris said Jennings "says some things that you should not say to another man ever" and called the remarks "soft." The episode followed a recent altercation between Jennings and Panthers safety Tre'von Moehrig that resulted in a low blow, a postgame punch and a suspension for Moehrig.
