Bolts' Hampton dealt with fracture, hopeful for Sun.
""It hurt kind of. Sitting here can't help my team," Hampton said. "So it's going to feel good to help my team out a little bit more.""
""amazing""
""I feel like I was getting a little comfortable," Hampton said. "I feel like I haven't"
Omarion Hampton suffered a left ankle fracture in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders and was placed on injured reserve, preventing further play. He returned to practice Tuesday and said he feels "amazing" being back on the field, and hopes to play Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders pending doctors' clearance. The Chargers selected Hampton with the No. 22 overall pick to complement veteran Najee Harris. After Harris suffered a season-ending Achilles rupture in Week 3, Hampton became a primary offensive contributor, producing 129 yards from scrimmage and his first NFL touchdown in a 23-20 win and catching 17 passes from Weeks 3 to 5.
