Bills benched WR Coleman for first drive of SNF
"discipline,"
"We expect more, and he has shown growth this year. He has,"
"We're looking for more consistency."
"Growth, maturation. That leads to consistency more than anything and like anything else, you have winning habits, it leads to winning on the field. And so, that's really what we're trying to create and that's what we're"
Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman was benched for the first offensive series of the Sunday night loss to the New England Patriots for disciplinary reasons tied to an incident during the prior week, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Coleman returned on the second series, played 42 snaps (62%), and caught four of seven targets for 23 yards and a touchdown, but also fumbled, giving the Patriots possession at the Buffalo 11. Coleman was previously benched in 2024 for being late to a meeting. McDermott said the team wants growth, maturation and consistency to build winning habits.
