"not turning on each other"
"That's not how we want to react,"
"And one of our best players, one our most high-character players, I think in a moment of frustration, said that. I don't expect that to happen again."
Bengals coach Zac Taylor took exception to running back Chase Brown's postgame comments after Cincinnati's 47-42 loss to the Chicago Bears, saying they were better left unsaid and that he hopes the remarks were a one-time occurrence. Brown mentioned not turning on each other and gave an extended response that was viewed as criticism of the defense. Cincinnati surrendered a touchdown with 17 seconds remaining after rallying with 15 points in 49 seconds to take the lead. The Bengals (3-6) suffered a second late-game defeat in two weeks and finished Week 9 with one of the NFL's worst defensive performances in several statistical categories.
