The Washington Wizards unveiled their City Edition uniform for the 2024-25 season, named the "Beyond Boundaries Uniform," which features a unique "hydrogen blue" base and honors historical achievements.
The uniform pays homage to Benjamin Banneker, honoring his contribution to marking Washington's boundaries, and includes elements like three blue stars referencing Banneker's original stone triangulation.
"We have been honored to share the story of the Boundary Stones... it's been rewarding to see the feedback from fans and historical experts alike," said Hunter Lochmann of Monumental Sports.
This season's City Edition uniforms reflect D.C.'s rich history and spirit, inspired by the energy that flows throughout the city, emphasizing inclusiveness and cultural significance.
