Teammates reacted on Instagram, with Jake LaRavia asking "U can dunk?", Jarred Vanderbilt calling the photo "AI", and Austin Reaves joking it was Doncic's "first dunk of the year." The dunk was one of three he has had over the past two seasons—two with the Lakers this season and one with the Mavericks in 2024-25. Doncic finished with a game-high 38 points on 14-of-28 shooting, six rebounds and seven assists, and is averaging 37.1 points, 9.4 rebounds and 9.1 assists for the Lakers this season.
