Tyler Herro admits foot hasn't gotten better
"It hasn't really gotten better, so I tried to warm up and I just wasn't feeling right that night."
"I'm just trying to control the swelling and the inflammation, and then from there I can kind of decide what I want to do from there."
"I just got to rest it and calm it down until I get back to normal."
"I'm going on the trip, so I'm hopeful that I'll be back at some point on the trip, if not, then hopefully the week at home."
Tyler Herro missed 20 of Miami's first 26 games after offseason ankle surgery and a lingering toe issue, sitting out the first 17 games and missing recent contests for swelling and inflammation. Two MRIs and a Toradol shot diagnosed a right foot contusion. He joined a three-game road trip while aiming to rest, reduce swelling, and return either during the trip or the following home week. In six games he averaged 23.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 50.5 percent overall and 40.5 percent from three, though defensive consistency and playmaking have been uneven amid fewer pick-and-roll opportunities.
