Raptors' Walter to miss camp with shoulder sprain
Briefly

Toronto Raptors rookie guard Ja'Kobe Walter, selected 19th overall in the NBA Draft, will not participate in training camp due to a sprained right shoulder.
Walter, who suffered the injury during informal workouts, was the top scorer for Baylor last season, earning Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors.
The Raptors plan to provide an update on Walter’s shoulder injury following next week’s training camp scheduled in Montreal.
After finishing last season with a disappointing 25-57 record and missing the play-in tournament, the team hopes for improvements this year.
