Morant on possible Grizzlies exit: 'Live with it'
"live with it."
"hopefully"
Ja Morant gave brief responses about his future with the Memphis Grizzlies, saying he has to "live with it." He joined the team for a European trip and said he will "hopefully" play in games against the Orlando Magic in Berlin and London, which would be his first action since Jan. 2. Morant missed five straight games due to a right calf contusion and has played only 18 games this season because of injuries and a one-game suspension. The Grizzlies are entertaining offers, with rival executives expecting draft picks and young players prioritized. Morant, 26, is under contract through 2027-28 and is eligible for a three-year, $178 million extension this summer.
