Miami Heat: NBA announces two extra games due to Emirates Cup elimination

The Miami Heat have been eliminated from the NBA Emirates Cup, prompting the league to add two extra games for teams not in the knockout stage.

The Heat's additional games include hosting the Toronto Raptors on December 12 at 7:30 PM EST and visiting the Detroit Pistons on December 16 at 7:00 PM.

This season, the Heat and Pistons have faced off twice, resulting in a split, including a narrow overtime loss for Miami at the start of group stage play.

As a result of the Heat's elimination, it seems like head coach Erik Spoelstra will have to strategize quickly to prepare for these added games.
