Knueppel limps off with ankle injury; X-rays clean
Kon Knueppel injured his right ankle late in the second quarter and did not return to the Hornets' 120-105 win over the Orlando Magic. X-rays on Knueppel's ankle were negative and he will be evaluated again when the team returns to Charlotte. The injury occurred when Knueppel jumped to defend a Desmond Bane drive and landed on Bane's foot, twisting his ankle. Knueppel had scored 16 points, all in the first quarter, making all four of his 3-point attempts. He entered the game averaging 19.4 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.
