Remco Evenepoel commenced altitude training in Livigno in preparation for his 2025 goals and farewell to Soudal-QuickStep. After abandoning the Tour de France, he confirmed his transfer to Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, early to strengthen his ambitions in the Tour de France. Although contracted with Soudal until 2026, Evenepoel chose to buy his way out. He is set to race again at the Tour of Britain and aims for the World and European Championships. His last race for Soudal is likely at Il Lombardia on October 11.
