Giannis on LeBron's praise: Unfair to compare eras
Briefly

Giannis Antetokounmpo responded to LeBron James' compliment about potentially scoring 250 points in a game during the 1970s, expressing gratitude yet cautioning against era comparisons. He emphasized that basketball has evolved significantly over time and suggested that if he had played in the past, he would have performed similarly to players of that era, as all players adapt to the prevailing norms of their time. Antetokounmpo acknowledged James' praise but stood firm in the belief that comparing players from different eras lacks fairness and context.
Great compliment, but I don't like comparing eras. It's not fair. If I'd played in the '70's, how everybody practiced and how everybody played, we would have played the same way.
It's totally different, so you can't compare this era with that era. I wish I could score 250 points today.
