Three new companies join 'Pilots at BAT' program

The NYCEDC has announced the arrival of Pliant Energy Systems, Armstrong World Industries, and LG CNS to the Brooklyn Army Terminal's Pilots at BAT program, aimed at fostering climate technology innovations. This initiative, launched in 2023, enables companies to test their solutions in energy efficiency, HVAC, and similar fields. The program will be expanded to the MADE Bush Terminal, enhancing support for cutting-edge technologies. NYCEDC President Andrew Kimball emphasized its role in bolstering economic opportunities while addressing climate challenges, highlighting various projects including energy-saving materials and advanced EV-charging infrastructure.
