Natalie Marie Gonzalez, a Stanford grad, received a four-year federal prison sentence for leading a drug delivery operation named 'The Shop' in the San Francisco Bay Area. The operation ran from April to September 2023, catering to clients who placed drug orders through the encrypted messaging service Signal, requiring a minimum of $300 per order. Gonzalez was indicted in October 2023 and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute meth. Authorities seized significant quantities of drugs during a search of her stash house in September.
Gonzalez instructed the agent to 'hop in' the car for a short 'Uber' ride around the block to cover up the drug transaction when the driver arrived.
According to the agent, Gonzalez said her customers were 'a lot of students and young professionals.'
