Tunnel to Towers to preserve Staten Island shrine used by many who lost loved ones on 9/11
Briefly

"There will be benches to sit and pews where visitors can kneel and pray," noted Frank Siller, CEO and chairman of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, detailing an expansion of the beloved Catholic place of worship which is steeped in Staten Island history, well-known as a space open for faithful prayer 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"The existing structure will remain as is, but we're going to give it a new roof and clean it up a bit, freshen the paint. It's very important for us to keep it looking exactly the same."
