Pustevny Gateway Center / henkai architekti
Briefly

The project aims to alleviate increasing traffic congestion in Pustevny by relocating the bus stop to improve safety and accessibility for tourists and enhance their experience.
Once home to hermitages, Pustevny transformed from a secluded area to a lively tourist hotspot, necessitating thoughtful architectural responses to manage foot and vehicle traffic.
The design incorporates a new bus stop and turnaround for local buses, strategically placed to enhance visitor flow and support the site's recreational activities.
The architectural heritage of Pustevny, marked by significant structures like Kamil Mrva's cable car terminal, underpins the importance of managing modernization while preserving historical context.
