Hundreds of illegal signs cleared from Staten Island streets in ongoing effort

Borough President Vito Fossella praised his clean team member Pete Trivelas for removing over 300 signs from Staten Island, emphasizing community beautification efforts.

Fossella stated, "the signs are unsightly and unwelcome" and highlighted that the clean team works weekly to improve the borough's appearance.

While acknowledging the ongoing challenge, Trivelas declared, "Nothing is too high or too low for ALL of us!" conveying dedication to the community.

Residents expressed gratitude on social media, noting that many signs, such as block party no parking notices, are often left up unnecessarily.
