The team successfully raised over $40,000 on Kickstarter within a week in 2015, demonstrating significant public interest and support for the initiative.
Following substantial public backing with over 10,000 signatures for safe river access, the project garnered collaboration with New York State for further testing.
As we approach potential public opening by Summer 2025, our pilot tests validate that clean river swimming is becoming a reality for New Yorkers.
