Rudy Giuliani has listed his New York City penthouse for just under $5.2 million, following the resolution of a defamation lawsuit with Georgia election workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss. While he was initially ordered to surrender the condo, Giuliani announced a settlement permitting him to retain his properties, which prevented a $148 million payout from impacting his living situation. A federal judge later allowed Freeman and Moss to seek control over Giuliani's assets to ensure they receive compensation for their defamation case.
Giuliani, 80, announced on X that he had "reached a resolution" with Freeman and Moss that allows him to keep both his Manhattan penthouse and his Florida home.
In August 2024, Freeman and Moss requested a federal judge to control Giuliani's assets, including his Manhattan apartment, to ensure payment of the $148 million.
