"The area has become a ghost town," said Mohammed Sheaito, a local taxi driver who described the aftermath of the bombings and how he sent his family to safety elsewhere.
"During the night, the ground shook below us and the sky lit up from the force of the strikes," recalled Sheaito, underscoring the intensity of the bombings.
Mohammed Afif, head of Hezbollah's information office, emphasized that all buildings targeted in the southern suburbs were civilian structures, denying any military presence there.
"Thousands have fled the bombings due to evacuation orders on social media before strikes," illustrating the chaotic and urgent response of residents to the escalating violence.
