Another Story Restaurant Coming To D&D Building Midtown

Another Story, a new restaurant and café from Scandinavian restaurateurs Ulrika Bengtsson and Sabina Lindmark, will open on the 14th floor of the D&D Building at 979 Third Avenue in Midtown Manhattan in late spring. The pair signed a multi-year lease for approximately 6,500 square feet, with 4,500 dedicated to the restaurant and remaining space for catering and private events. The space has been vacant since 2020. The D&D Building is a prominent design hub featuring high-end showrooms. Bengtsson and Lindmark, who operate Björk Café & Bistro at Scandinavia House, designed Another Story to complement the building's energy as a modern gathering space with thoughtful food and beverage offerings, targeting both daytime design-industry professionals and evening private events.
