NYPD detective charged with Staten Island DWI allegedly crashed pickup into 2 cars

Leonid Shatkin, a 42-year-old off-duty NYPD detective, faces DWI charges after crashing his truck into two parked cars in Grant City around 2:55 a.m. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
