NYPD: 33-year-old man fatally stabbed at East New York deli
Briefly

Diego Sandoval Nava, a 33-year-old man, was fatally stabbed at a deli in East New York around 3:07 p.m. He suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso and was taken to the hospital but later died. Employees and residents expressed shock at the incident, noting it was the first such violent event at the deli. Mosheer Alnassar, a deli worker, conveyed his fear and confusion over the occurrence, while resident Rocko Seymour mentioned the rarity of such crime in the area. The police are searching for a male suspect.
"I was scared. How could that happen? We don't have that much trouble in the store like this. The first time ever happened in the store with our family," said Alnassar.
"I often pass it every time I go to the laundromat or to the grocery store. So for there to be some sort of a crime or something to render somebody injured or dead, you know, it's kind of crazy," said Seymour.
