Newly-launched campaign will provide resources to businesses employing people with WTC illnesses

Governor Kathy Hochul launched a new campaign to help those impacted by 9/11 gain access to federal benefit programs for medical support and compensation.
The 9/11 Notice Act mandates businesses in the disaster area to inform affected individuals about their rights to programs like the World Trade Center Health Program.
The toolkit developed for businesses includes instructions on sharing vital information about the World Trade Center Health Program and the Sept. 11th Victim Compensation Fund.
Since 2011, the World Trade Center Health Program and the Sept. 11th Victim Compensation Fund have provided over $14.25 billion in compensation and medical care.
