Hochul issues severe weather warning for parts of New York; NYC in potential path of snowstorm

"Areas in New York will start to get impacted Monday night into early Tuesday," National Weather Service meteorologist Frank Pereria said. "It's going to be a pretty quick system, when we get into Tuesday evening it would have already moved offshore on its way into Canada."

"New York City is going to be on the southern edge of this, so it will see a little bit of snow," said Pereria. "The heaviest accumulation of this will be in the Catskills and the Hudson Valley."
