An investment of more than $400 million, including over $100 million designated for Bronx affordable housing, will benefit over 1,000 New Yorkers. The six-part investment plan announced by Gov. Kathy Hochul aims to address the housing crisis and expand the state's housing supply.
Upcoming Bronx projects like La Olazul in Mount Hope and Jericho 158 in Melrose will offer nearly 200 new affordable homes. The La Olazul development will feature 69 supportive units for homeless adults and families, while Jericho 158 will consist of 129 affordable apartments, including supportive units, across two buildings.
