Exclusive | Trans activists support measure to protect students, staff should Andrew Cuomo become mayor
Briefly

Left-wing activists proposed a resolution at the Community Education Council meeting to issue a predator warning regarding Andrew Cuomo, referencing allegations of sexual harassment against him. Despite the seriousness of the allegations leading to his 2021 resignation, the motion failed in a tie vote. Critics, including Council Vice President Leonard Silverman, condemned the resolution as extreme political maneuvering. Cuomo’s campaign defended him, highlighting opposition to such tactics as indicative of deeper mistrust in politics driven by division. The meeting featured significant activist participation, promoting various resolutions beyond the Cuomo issue.
Given the extremely serious nature of the allegations against Cuomo . . . CEC2 urges the City Council to institute protocols to safeguard students and school staff from a predatory mayor.
This is one of the worst resolutions I've ever seen by District 2. This one is just horrific.
This is why people are so distrustful of politics - especially the politics of the far left that appears to be fueled by underhanded, transparent tactics and division.
Those attempting to engage in vile gutter politics for their own personal gain should really reflect on their actions going forward.
